Taylors College Auckland- Pathway to New Zealand’s leading universities

Taylors College Auckland has a special arrangement with AUT University, Massey University and The University of Auckland, guaranteeing Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY) students entry into an undergraduate degree at the respective universities, provided the minimum prescribed academic and English proficiency levels are met.

The TAFY programme gives you a lot of flexibility to choose where to study. You don’t need to decide your preference before you enter the TAFY programme and can apply for more than one university.

An IELTS score is not needed for entry into NZ universities for most degrees. The TAFY English mark replaces IELTS as the English entry requirement.

Record of Success
In 2011:

  • 91% of students were offered a university place
  • 87% of students received offers from our partner universities, AUT University, Massey University and The University of Auckland
  • Students also received offers from, Victoria University (NZ) and Canterbury University.

“Time flies quickly and life changes. However one thing I will never forget is the continuous support I’ve been receiving from Taylors College teachers and staff during my past years in New Zealand. Four years ago, I came to New Zealand to pursue the dream of success. Taylors College has helped me to achieve my dream. The TAFY year prepared me with excellent knowledge to succeed in further studies at the University. At Taylors I also had a chance to make friends with people from many different cultures.”
